Scent Work Classes
There are two types of Scent work courses available. No experience is necessary!
What are the benefits of Scent work?
Mental enrichment, confidence building for you and your dog, it's a calming activity, assists in building bonds between you and your dog, physical stimulation and the best part...any dog can do it!
Upon completion of one course, you are entitled to £10 off the other course!
'Scent work: Tracking'

What is tracking?
Tracking is a skill which enables your dog to detect, recognise and follow a specific scent with their nose to the ground. It is a fantastic energy burner and a great skill to hone in on! The course delivers a positive scent experience to the dogs and improves their lives through nose work!
The course is broken down into article indication, track laying, straight line tracks, tracks with bends and tracks with 2 or more articles. Different environments/locations are used during this course.
The course holds up to 4 dogs plus handlers.
Beginners Course Start Dates:

'Scent work: Detection'
Holt Village Hall

This 6-week course is a fantastic opportunity to teach your dog how to detect different scents, how to search different locations for particular scents and how to alert you to them successfully finding the chosen scents.
The course is broken down into scent indication, bag searches, article searches, car searches (weather/location dependent), pipe searches and scent bag finds.
The course holds up to 5 dogs plus handlers.

TRIAL DAYS
Upon completion of either scent work course, you are invited to join in on trial days where your skills as a handler (and your dog's nose) will be put to the test! Prizes for the fastest team!

'Fun Heelwork To Music'

Fun Heelwork to Music is a 12 week course which takes place on Sunday evenings at Holt Village Hall at 6.30pm. This course focuses on trick training and heel work whilst sequencing moves together into a dance routine to the fantastic track 'This Is Me' from The Greatest Showman. This course may be light hearted but you need to show willing to practice the moves in between sessions to grow your dogs confidence. Your dog needs to have a sound level of heel training (doesn't have to be perfect!) to attend this course.
The course holds up to 5 dogs plus handlers.
A 'Intro to Heelwork To Music' workshop is available if you'd like a taster session prior to signing up or to see if your dog (and you!) enjoy it!

1-2-1 Dog Training
121 Dog Training sessions tailored to your dogs needs.
These sessions can cover a wide variety of topics such as loose lead walking, recall, toilet breaking, jumping up issues, new puppy home set up, basic obedience and more.
£50 for 1 hour / £60 for 1.5 hours (mileage charges may apply)
Area's covered: Bournemouth, Poole, Ringwood, Ferndown, Verwood and everywhere in between.
Payment is required at the time of booking.
A 48 hour cancellation policy is in place for this option. If notice of less than 48 hours is given, there will be no option of a refund or 'roll over'.
