T&C’s

T&C's:

Bookings & Payments:

Payment is required within 24 hours of booking.

The exception to this is our regular clients on our ‘Pay As You Go’ system whose fees are due prior to the first session in their block of 3.

Failure to pay may result in your booking being cancelled.

Cancellations:

A 2-week cancellation policy is in place for all of our courses to be entitled to a refund, course change or start date roll over.

A 48-hour cancellation policy is in place for all sessions once on your chosen course.

Notice of less than 48 hours will have no option of a refund or 'roll over' for that single session.

Owner Responsibilities:

You are responsible for your own dog during sessions, please do not let them be a nuisance to others!

Please follow the trainers instructions at all times. It can be very tempting to want to get to the ‘end game’ in a speedy fashion but our teaching methods and class plans are there to build confidence and enable you to learn safely.

If your dog damages any equipment during sessions, you may be liable for the cost of fixing/replacing.

Do not go on any equipment without a trainer present or prior to your class starting- I know it's tempting but use the time to make yourselves at home!

Please do not sit/stand/climb on any of the equipment, it is not made for humans!

Dogs are to be on lead at all times unless instructed otherwise.

Please be mindful that trainers do their best to ensure that everyone has equal time on the equipment. When you’ve done your run, please leash your dog and exit swiftly for the next person.

Please ensure you’re on time to classes as the first part of the session will explain what to expect and how we’re rolling for the duration! It’s easier if the trainer doesn’t have to go through it twice!

Lateness means you will end up having a reduced session- our appointments are back to back!

Please only use the designated dog poo bins at our Burton, Holt and West Moors indoor venues, not their rubbish bins. Your trainer will point you in the direction of these.

In all of our venues, there is ample green space to toilet your dog.

For our indoor classes, please do not allow them mark on the building walls or near the entrance.

You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog. If you require a poo bag, please ask a member of the team.

Please do not enter the venue/approach the gates/fences earlier than 5 minutes prior to your appointment start time as the previous class will be on their way out. Please ensure you allow them space to do so.

Trainers also need time to set up/change equipment!

121 sessions have a short window after their session to ensure they can exit safely and stress free which is very important for our reactive clients.

Some of our dogs require space and approaching the gates/fence lines can cause stress and/or distraction.

Please do not approach any dog exiting any of our venues

Please don’t worry if you need to take your dog off for a toilet break or ‘mental reset’, there’s always plenty of space in the field and outdoor spaces at our indoor venues.

Please do not move any equipment (such as lifting jump bars to a higher setting).

Dog Behavioural Changes:

Bitches in season are not permitted in classes but have the option of a 121 session in our outdoor field with ‘pants’ on! If your bitch comes into heat, please do not arrive for your session. Inform the trainer at the earliest convenience so we can accommodate them or mark them as absent until they're ready to return.

(Cancellation policy applies).

Please ensure your trainer is aware of any injuries/behavioural changes relating to your dog. A natural pain response can be (but not limited to) aggression, acting out of character and refusal to participate in sessions. Your dogs emotional wellbeing is our top priority. Any dog we feel not suitable for the class environment during their session will be asked to leave for their safety and the safety of the other dogs/handlers in the class.

Bringing The Family?

Whilst we welcome families to our sessions, please ensure your children are under close supervision and aren’t a distraction to others in the class. Not all dogs are comfortable with louder noise (as a mother I understand that kids can be excitable!) and we want all our clients to feel relaxed in our sessions. If your ‘young handler’ is partaking in the physical training, please ensure only 1 child is handling the dog at a time and that the trainer’s instructions are adhered to at all times.

Extra Information:

We have a limited amount of chairs, please feel free to bring chairs/blankets to sit on in between your turns.

Doors & gates are locked during class times.

Our outdoor venues are open to the elements of Mother Nature, please ensure you dress for the weather as we have no shelters available.

Ensure your footwear is suitable and sturdy.

During Summer months, we recommend sun umbrellas/cooling coats for dogs.

Please DO NOT forget your drinking water & bowl for your dog regardless of the time of year.

We welcome pregnant clients to our classes with the understanding you do so at your own risk. Some of our sports such as Agility and Hoopers give you the option of running should you wish to do so at any stage in your pregnancy as you know your body and its capabilities!

Our classes are mostly outdoors and are therefore open to the elements in terms of (but not limited to) muddy ground, slippery grass and uneven ground. We have no control over this. Poochadise Canine Services releases itself from all liability in any session if a client sustains any injuries during our classes due to the above.
