Meet The Team

KAT

My name is Kat (BCCSDip.FDAg, BCCS.Dip.AdvCanBhv, BCCSComp.Obd) and I am the training instructor and Business Owner here at Poochadise Canine Services. I was drawn towards working with dogs after joining a friend who was a local Dog Walker on one of her walks. She showed me the ropes and in December 2016, I opened Poochadise offering Dog Walking and Pet Sitting. Alongside these services, I took a number of qualifications including Pet Bereavement, Holistic Health and Canine Health & Welfare. I completed my Dog Training Diploma in February 2018 qualifying with a Distinction and became a member of The Guild of Dog Trainers (in April 2026, I achieved their highest tier as a Master Professional Dog Training Instructor). With the Dog Training industry unregulated, it was important to me to show to potential clients that my qualifications had been vetted. Since 2016, the business has grown (and still growing!) into a company that offers fun classes, confidence building, mental enrichment and challenges for handlers and their dogs. Poochadise provides a safe, non judgmental and caring training environment. All of our classes are available on a 121 basis for those that require space and we happily adapt to accommodate dogs with health & mobility limitations.

We also accept dogs under the XL Bully law.

Poochadise strives to be inclusive, not exclusive! We really are fun training for all...

JACKIE

My name is Jackie and I am the Fun Dog Coach here at Poochadise Canine Services. I am also the Owner of our sister company 'Nova’s Fun Dog Club'. I started working with dogs at just 12 years old volunteering for Lincolnshire, Essex & Trent Boxer Rescue assisting with fundraising, kennel care and admin. My own beloved rescue dog Dotty, a French Bulldog was rescued from a breeding farm after having five litters by the age of six, sadly crossed over the rainbow bridge at the age of 14. Two years later, Nova (pictured) burst into my life! A fiery whirlwind with four homes behind her by the time she was one. Sadly, as full of energy as she was, Nova was left with anxiety from her unsettled past and start in life (so I know first hand as an owner how this feels). Together we've built an unshakable bond and love hiking and exploring Dorset's hills and beaches!

In 2023, I started attending Agility classes with Poochadise and soon went into Flyball. I felt instantly connected with the energy, joy and positive atmosphere of every session and it sparked a new chapter! Kat shared my vision of fun, relationship-focused and confidence building Dog Training. Kat's knowledge and encouragement inspired me to pursue my dream of becoming a Dog Coach. With Kat's support, I have been learning, shadowing and studying everything I can! Today, I am a proud member of the Poochadise Team helping others build strong, joyful relationships with their dogs through games based training and confidence building adventures.
